Back from Malacca!
(Overview)
A tranquilizing place with cheap entertainment & goods and mouth-watering food.
(1st day)
Visited historical sites and museums in the day, costing us between 50 cents to $1 sgd per entry only. And had good food for every meal (BEST!).
Watched a movie at nite, costing us $3 sgd only. (isn't it paying cheaply for good stuffs?)
Chilled out at a lounge with a glass of complimentary cocktail.
(2nd day)
We took a swim in our 5-star hotel, sun tanned, enjoyed a jaccuzi bath and sweated out in sauna (this is the life!).
Walked a long way to the seaside to enjoy the sea breeze and later on found us been pulled by the line of 10 seafood stalls, competing with one another. Store number 9 & 5 were so pestering, so i chose 4 (9 minus 5, LOL) out of frustration. Also, we were being conned by this taxi driver (learnt a lesson: must check out the standard taxi rates).
After that, at nite, we had a great deal of shopping and eventually ran out of ringgits. So we exchanged more for the next day (see how tempting the price is).
(last day)
Overslept because of over-enjoyment -.-"'
so we quickly shopped for the remaining things with our remaining ringgits, making sure no $ is left (crazy, huh?)
we cheated a taxi driver in revenge (muahahaha) and got a cheaper ride back to the bus interchange.
Of course, I did some accounting for the vacation. SGD253 spent in total. $70 on accommodations, SGD50 on food, SGD100 on clothings & SGD30 on transportation. Balance: $0 (pok kai liao)
