Field camp is so dirty disgutsing and uncomfortable, but yet very enjoyable at night.
it is dirty and disgusting because our body were always soaked with sand and mud water and camouflage cream on whole face. And our toilet (NO! it's lactrine!) is just some deep dug holes and of cos dere are partitions between the 'holes' to prevent 'unauthorised peeps', else the faeces wont even come out. So smelly and unpleasant with flies flying around. God damn it! and when we wanted to pee, the trees and bushes are our points of release. HOLY SHIT! these were the most disgusting experience ever!!!
The good things were that we were able to eat nice rations and the shootings. The most wonderful thing happened at nights when the sky is always filled with sparkling stars, yellow, white and orange. Because the air is very fresh and not polluted, the moons and stars can be seen real clearly, all caught with one sight. When it was time to sleep, I would always look up and enjoy the nice night sky and i will eventually dose off. I missed them.
